Groundbreaking of a Key Project in Hue

On March 26, 2025, LEC Group officially broke ground on the Chan May Logistics Center located in Loc Vinh Commune, Phu Loc District, Thua Thien Hue Province. This is one of the group’s key logistics projects, marking a strategic step forward in developing logistics infrastructure in Central Vietnam.

With a total investment of over VND 1,500 billion, the project covers an area of 33.62 hectares and is expected to become a modern goods transshipment hub, efficiently connecting various modes of transportation such as seaports, railways, roads, and airways. It aims to enhance the supply chain capacity not only in Central Vietnam but also nationwide and internationally.

The Chan May Logistics Center includes several key components: International-standard warehousing system, goods coordination and distribution center, customs clearance and integrated customs services area and multimodal transport support zone.

All infrastructure will be equipped with modern technology, enabling real-time goods management, enhancing operational efficiency, and strictly complying with environmental and labor safety standards.

At the groundbreaking ceremony, a representative of LEC Group’s Executive Board affirmed their commitment:
“We will devote our full strength to ensure the project is implemented on schedule, with the highest quality, and truly brings practical value to Thua Thien Hue Province in particular and the Vietnamese logistics sector in general.”

This statement reflects LEC Group's seriousness and sense of responsibility towards partners, customers, and the local community—who all hold high expectations for this project.

The overall perspective of the Chan May Logistics Center, covering 336,000 m² with an investment of VND 1,514 billion – clearly demonstrates the project's scale and long-term strategic vision.

Once completed and operational, the project will significantly improve storage and transportation capacity in Central Vietnam while creating hundreds of new job opportunities for local workers.

In addition, the Chan May Logistics Center will serve as an “economic lever” to boost trade, investment, industrial production, and service activities in the Chan May – Lang Co Economic Zone, contributing to sustainable socio-economic development.
