(VNF) - On November 22, 2019, Vietnam National Shipping Lines (VIMC) officially signed a memorandum of understanding with LEC Group Joint Stock Company - one of the leading companies in cargo transportation. and port services.

According to the signed cooperation agreement, VIMC and its subsidiaries are expected to provide package transport services to LEC Group with an output of about 2.5-3 million tons / year of agricultural and mineral products.

About LEC Group, this is a unit established based on a combination of two leading companies in Vietnam, including CAPELLA Group (a leading multi-industry group) and OTE Group (leading in logistics, energy amount).

According to VietnamFinance, LEC Group has a logistics system that spans all over Vietnam (North - Central - South). The area of ​​LEC GROUP's bonded warehouses and warehouses at Phu Thai port (Hai Duong province) is about 250,000 m2, at Chan May port (Thua Thien Hue province) about 10,000 m2, at Phu My port (Ba Ria - Vung Tau) about 200,000 m2.
